She's wrong!! A lot of people has been saying this, but proven wrong. What you find out is that they test bikes that are older. new bikes, specially her ein Europe that are Euro-3 level, pollute as much as cars.

But.... motorcycles arrive at the destination faster than cars, and park faster than cars, so in the long run, even an older, more polluting motorcycles, pollutes less than a car on a day-to-day basis.

Well tell me is a "girder" front end recmended for a rear suspension swing arm type frame such a early 1958 to 1984 FL FLH FX and XL or latter FXR or FXD?
I would think the girder is best for rigid or possibly minium "travel" rear suspension such as a "Softail" FXST or a Indian or "Saviour" ( anyone remember those?) or Royal Infield, Ariel or Vincent.
What does anyone think? All comments considered!
What kind of shock does this new girder have? Does "Fournalles" make a compatible shock? Is it designed with only a spring?
Sicerely,
Bob

I remember that cartoon!! Totally loved it, and I think it very likely is the only animated series featuring motorcycles of any kind on a regular basis, though there is a shot out there someplace of Fred Flintstone riding a seriouslyi prehistoric chopper...

You'll find a well animated motorcycle in Disney's The Aristocats, including a side-car. More interesting, though, the art shows a good sense of depth and perspective as it has a variety of turns and twists as the bad guy rides down the road and eventually crashes. Seems like there are others. I've done a few myself, but they're not what you'd call well animated.

Looking forward to digging more of your blog.

Funny! Being more of a dirt biker, I can't say I have really experienced this. Dirt bikers normally stand around 80% of the time, so arm pump becomes more of an issue, than "numb butt". Cool blog by the way!

Thank you for the kind words; it's very gratifying to be recognized in this way. Just an update: the daughter who's a member of a motorcycle club is also now a private in the U.S. Army National Guard!

There will be a 2009 calendar as well; keep an eye on the website to see new pieces as they make their way into the world.

A couple of points re: the sale of Custom Chrome to Daell USA headed by Nace Panzica. The deal will be completed by March '08 not March '09. Also, tires are not the only product with an across the board price increase. Oil has also gone up. Too many people in our industry have unrealistic expectations when it comes to pricing of everyday products. Among other things, we have internet parts prostitutes to thank for negatively impacting our local bike shops. Every time a customer patronizes one of these 'net hos to save a buck or two, the harder it is for shops and distributors to make a living. The industry hopefully will bounce back but it's time for every one of us to take a hard look in the mirror and evaluate what our role is in creating a healthy enviornment where we can all thrive.
